오랫동안 당신을 존경해 왔습니다. 당신의 사고 방식, 시장 접근법, 그리고 이 분야에서 지속적으로 빌더와 좋은 사람들을 지원해 온 모습에서 많은 것을 배웠습니다. 당신은 이전에 제 게시물 몇 개에 답글을 달아 주시기도 했고, 제 의견을 재포스하기도 했습니다. 그런 순간들은 저에게 큰 의미가 있었습니다.
제가 이것을 공유하는 이유는 동정을 구하기 위함이 아니라, 다른 사람이 제가 저지른 같은 실수를 피했으면 해서입니다.
2024년 7월, 셀러브리티 코인 열풍 속에서 저는 LILPUMP 코인에 끌리게 되었습니다.
당시 저는 약 1,200명의 팔로워가 있었고, 암호화폐 분야에서 생계를 이어가기 위해 할 수 있는 모든 일을 했습니다—가방 작업, 텔레그램 그룹 참여, 스페이스에서 발언, 콘텐츠 제작 등.
공통 지인을 통해 팀과 긴밀히 협업하게 되었고, Lil Pump와 그의 매니저, 그리고 프로젝트 뒤에 있는 다른 사람들과도 연락을 주고받았습니다.
돌이켜보면 저는 경험이 부족했습니다.
그들의 약속을 믿었습니다. 제가 뭔가를 건설하는 데 도움을 주고 있다고 진심으로 생각했죠. 비디오를 만들고, 토큰을 홍보하라는 지시를 받았으며, 암호화폐를 넘어선 기회가 주어질 것이라는 약속도 받았습니다—미국에서 새로운 삶을 시작하도록 도와준다는 약속까지 포함해서요.
하지만 그 어떤 일도 이루어지지 않았습니다.
결국 저는 토큰 마케팅에 이용당하고 있었다는 사실을 깨달았습니다.
가장 힘든 부분은 단순히 속았다는 것이 아니라
그 이야기를 너무 깊이 믿어 결국 제 모든 것을 그 토큰에 거의 전부 투자하게 된 것이었습니다.
대략 6만 달러 정도를 잃었습니다.
그 한 번의 실수가 제 인생을 바꾸었습니다.
그 이후로 저는 안정적인 일을 구하지 못했고, 거의 무에서 시작해 재건해 왔습니다. 솔직히 말씀드리면, 한 달을 버티는 것 자체가 승리처럼 느껴지는 날도 있었습니다.
저는 계속해서 글을 쓰고 배우며 매일 모습을 드러내고, 다시 이 산업에서 제 자리를 잡으려고 노력하고 있습니다. 그래서 아직도 여기 있습니다.
제가 얻은 가장 큰 교훈은 다음과 같습니다:
지식은 여러분이 살 수 있는 가장 저렴한 보험입니다.
시장이 어떻게 돌아가는지 모를 때, 여러분은 종종 다른 사람들의 교육 비용을 대신 지불하게 됩니다.

I've looked up to you for a long time. I've learned a lot from how you think, how you approach markets, and how you've consistently supported builders and good people in this space. you've replied to a few of my posts before, even reposted some of my takes, and those moments genuinely meant a lot to me
the reason im sharing this isn't for sympathy. its because i hope someone else avoids making the same mistake i did
back in July 2024, during the celebrity coin meta, i got pulled into the LILPUMP coin
at the time, i had around 1.2k followers and was doing anything i could to earn a living in crypto - bag working, joining Telegram groups, speaking in Spaces, making content
through mutuals, i ended up working closely with the team. i was in contact with Lil Pump, his manager, and others behind the project
looking back, i was inexperience
