    Everyone is asking why $ONDO token holders get nothing while the protocol prints $4.9M a month. The answer is not greed. The answer is lawyers. Making $ONDO a revenue-sharing token would likely classify it as a security under the Howey Test. Ondo is dealing directly with US equities and Treasuries. That is the most regulated corner of crypto on purpose. The fee switch exists. A DAO vote is expected H2 2026. At current scale that is $48M+ annualized, potentially flowing to holders for the first time. BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, DTCC, Broadridge. These are not partners you attract by running an aggressive yield token. The institutional moat required the boring structure. The treasury is accumulating. The optionality is real. The honest risk: regulatory timelines slip. DAOs make promises they do not keep. Token unlocks run through 2029. None of this is guaranteed. But the design has a logic that most people criticising it have not read. The people who read the docs always buy before the people who read the price.

    $ONDO built a $3.59B protocol and forgot to invite the token holders. TVL at all time highs. Token down 85% from its peak. That is not a market problem. That is a design problem. $4.9M in monthly fees flowing to a DAO treasury with no buyback and no distribution to holders. You do not own the revenue. You own the vote on the revenue. Governance rights over a protocol that captures nothing for its holders is not ownership. That is the illusion of ownership dressed in a whitepaper. The TVL number is real. The value capture is not. You did not buy the infrastructure. You bought the press release.
