Hyperliquid (HYPE)

Anyone getting overly excited about the fundamentals here and telling themselves that structural demand means the floor will keep rising may be correct in that assumption. However, they fail to acknowledge the foundations on which markets are built: flow and participation. There are clear pain points across this chart. Different stories can be told on this chart, each with different risk limits. To say this cannot happen is a very dangerous mindset. I lean towards my base assumption: this is top side distribution, where late buyers are purchasing from early believers. Do not shoot the messenger, but I have high conviction that this breaks back into value and subsequently trades in the 40s very soon.

$HYPE whales are net short $11.7M. They're stacking shorts directly into the Assistance Fund's buy-and-burn wall.

$HYPE is currently trading around the $62 region after correcting nearly 18% from its recent high near $77. While short-term momentum has cooled, the broader trend hasn't been invalidated yet. According to @1winToken Markets, 58% of traders expect $HYPE to finish above $90 by the end of 2026. That shows market sentiment remains optimistic despite the recent pullback. From a technical perspective, the $59-$60 zone is acting as a major demand area. As long as this level holds, buyers still have a chance to regain control. The first confirmation would be a reclaim of $66, followed by a breakout above $77, which was the last major swing high. Fundamentally, @HyperliquidX continues to be one of the strongest projects in the perpetual futures space. It has built a loyal user base, consistently ranks among the highest decentralized perpetual exchanges by trading activity, and continues to expand its ecosystem. Strong protocol usage and growing liquidity remain long-term positives. In my view, the probabilities currently look like this: • 60% chance of a bullish recovery if $59-$60 continues to hold. 
• 40% chance of further downside if support fails, with the next key zone around $53-$55. A move to $90-$92 is realistic, but it will likely require improving market sentiment, stronger Bitcoin performance, and confirmation through higher highs on the chart. The long-term outlook remains constructive, but the next few daily candles around support will be critical in deciding the next major trend.

Last afterhour price on Blackberry is 9.5 while hyperliquid nuking to 8.6 and earnings in 12 hours or so, all in a one hour candle and with funding very negative. Am I missing something or is this just some weird OI flush while markets are closed?
