you've probably got thousands of notifications, so i know there's a good chance you never see this. but i wanted to put it out there anyway

first, thank you

I've looked up to you for a long time. I've learned a lot from how you think, how you approach markets, and how you've consistently supported builders and good people in this space. you've replied to a few of my posts before, even reposted some of my takes, and those moments genuinely meant a lot to me

the reason im sharing this isn't for sympathy. its because i hope someone else avoids making the same mistake i did

back in July 2024, during the celebrity coin meta, i got pulled into the LILPUMP coin

at the time, i had around 1.2k followers and was doing anything i could to earn a living in crypto - bag working, joining Telegram groups, speaking in Spaces, making content

through mutuals, i ended up working closely with the team. i was in contact with Lil Pump, his manager, and others behind the project

looking back, i was inexperienced

i believed the promises. i genuinely thought i was helping build something. i was told to make videos, push the token, and that there would be opportunities for me beyond crypto - including promises of helping me start a new life in America

none of it happened

i eventually realized i was being used to help market the token

the hardest part wasn't just being misled

it was believing the story so deeply that i ended up putting almost everything i had into the token myself

i lost roughly $60,000

that single mistake changed my life

since then, i haven't had stable work i've been rebuilding from almost nothing, and if im being honest, there have been days where simply getting through the month felt like a win

i've continued writing, learning, showing up every day, and trying to earn my place in this industry again. thats why im still here

the biggest lesson i learned is this:

knowledge is the cheapest insurance you'll ever buy

when you dont understand how a market works, you're often the one paying for everyone else's education

if you happen to read this, i'd simply ask for an opportunity

whether its advice, visibility, or a chance to contribute somewhere - i dont expect anything to be handed to me. i just want another chance to prove myself
