🚨 PLEASE READ, CARDANO COMMUNITY 🚨 To be completely honest, before 2021, I viewed Cardano primarily as a speculative asset. Smart contracts weren’t even live yet—and I was already here. I want to start by saying this: this is NOT the first time Cardano has fallen out of the Top 10, and it probably won’t be the last. Markets are cyclical. But more importantly, Cardano has been ranked much lower than it is today and still managed to recover. The difference? Back then, Cardano didn’t even have smart contracts. Today we have DeFi, on-chain governance, a multi-billion dollar treasury, liquid staking, DePIN, RWAs, stablecoins, and one of the most resilient communities in crypto. Many people are focused on the rankings. I’m focused on the fundamentals. If Cardano was able to come back when it had far less infrastructure, why do so many people believe it can’t do it now? Short-term, the market decides the price. Long-term, technology, adoption, and execution decide who survives.

🚨 SECURITY UPDATE: Root Cause & Blast Radius Confirmed We have isolated the root cause of the recent security incident. The issue was confined to our native Cardano web wallet generation software. Our team has completed an onchain analysis to determine the scope of impact, and we are now finalizing an independent technical review with a leading blockchain security firm to validate our findings.

We need an official announcement from the @Cardano account that this was not a chain exploit. The narratives are already being shaped, let’s get ahead of them.

Do not sign ANY transactions on the SecondFi Wallet. I would suggest an immediate browser extension disable of this extension. My personal advice would be an immediate migration to another wallet. Restore the affected wallet into another reputable wallet, then transfer the funds to a new clean wallet preferably a new hardware wallet. Transfer in small amounts first to confirm. Remain as cautious as possible, do not sign anything in the SecondFi wallet or interact with the Cardano blockchain using it, Yuta details a nice guide below.
